When CRO, a successful German rapper, launches a film competition he challenges his fans and aspiring film professionals alike to go head to head for the chance to turn their vision for a CRO-Film into a reality. Three very different submissions impress CRO and his film team the most. The film production offers the three filmmakers a unique opportunity where they profit from the hands-on experience and the chance to get to know each other better. During the process Vanessa (Peri Baumeister), a shy Asperger’s patient, is surprised by the sudden attention from her male counterparts; CRO learns the value of Vanessa’s creative professionalism; while the impulsive screenwriter Dawid (David Shütter) and the frustrated cartoonist Ludwig (Marc Benjamin) fall head over heels for the unapproachable Vanessa.

An original mix of comic visual elements and live material Unsere Zeit ist Jetzt (Our Time is Now) shines with well-known talent both in front of, as well as behind the camera. The film celebrates CRO’s debut in a leading role; it was produced by Til Schweiger and directed by Martin Schreier. Mercedes-Benz supported the production with the provision of a GLS for a prominent supporting role in the film. Branded Entertainment Agency LOCAVI managed the vehicle’s integration in the film as well as supporting client Mercedes-Benz with the marketing and organizational activities associated with the premiere sponsorship; these services included managing the brand logo integration on marketing materials and shuttle services for the premiere. The film was released on October 6, 2016 in German cinemas.
