SWEETHEARTS

Single mother Mel (Hannah Herzsprung) wants to create a better life for herself and her daughter through a diamond theft – although she has a sophisticated plan, pretty much everything possible goes wrong with the implementation. So Mel is forced to take haphazard Franny (Karoline Herfurth) as a hostage, who suffers from frequent panic attacks. Mel is is gradually losing her mind because of Franny’s annoying quirks, which is of course unfavorable since the two are followed by the tough SEK leader Ingrid von Kaiten (Anneke Kim Sarnau). When Mel takes the attractive policeman Harry (Frederick Lau) as an additional hostage, the chaos is perfect, because Franny immediately has a crush on him. Meanwhile, a friendship is slowly developing between the unequal women...
